Many thanks to everybody who took part in World Tetrad Dissection Week in memory of Carl Singer! The winning photo was taken by Tamara Milosevic at the Centre de Recherche Interdisciplinaire, Paris.

She described the photo: "We had an Open day of Bachelor program Frontiers in Life Science on March 15th and more than 10 high school students tried to dissect yeast tetrads, taught by 1st and 2nd year bachelor students who learned to dissect yeast tetrads earlier this week."

Carl Singer dedicated his life to serving the yeast community. He must have taught tens of thousands of people how to dissect, in a very fun and enthusiastic way. Let's pass that on!
